Michael V. Mason
Michael Mason is a co-founding partner of Mason & Mason, PLLC. He concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation and business transactions. His extensive litigation experience ranges from commercial and residential landlord/tenant proceedings, mortgage foreclosures, contested real estate ownership claims, corporate and business claims, contract and lease disputes, personal injury claims and collections actions. Mr. Mason also represents clients in commercial and residential leasing and business transactions. His clients have ranged from single family-homeowners to multi-million dollar REITS to national banks.
Mr. Mason is a licensed New York State real estate instructor. He has lectured to members of the Bar and public on various Landlord/Tenant issues. Mr. Mason is a qualified to accept court appointments to act as a receiver in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens Counties. Mr. Mason is the past Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association District Court Committee on Civil Matters. His pro-bono work includes service as a past organizer, and current mediator, with the Nassau County Bar Association’s Landlord/Tenant Mediation program. Mr. Mason is also a regular participant in the Volunteer Legal Program (VLP). Mr. Mason is a graduate of Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center (J. D. 1996), St. John’s University (B.S. 1993) and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1997.
